Lions Stop Inoue at 22 Friday, June 6th, 2025 Tadasu Inoue's 22-game hitting streak was snapped today at Ballpark of Nasu College. The 19-year-old Marines shortstop failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game with the Saitama Seibu Lions, but Chiba Lotte came out the winner, topping them 8-5. One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Tadasu. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line." This year Inoue has hit at a .252 clip with 64 hits, 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 58 runs scored. |
