Zhu Collects CL Pitching Award Sunday, June 1st, 2025 May's top hurler was Kung-zheng Zhu of Tokyo Yakult. He shackled Central League hitters the entire month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award with a sparkling 4-1 mark. The 20-year-old Zhu added 32 strikeouts in 23.1 innings and 8 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.77 ERA. Other clubs hit .159 against him. For the season Zhu has compiled a 10-2 record with a 1.85 ERA. |
