Magaso Belts 3 HR Against Hanshin Saturday, May 31st, 2025 Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. James Magaso discovered that when he smashed three homers at Ballpark of Otofuke College during today's 16-14 win over the Hanshin Tigers. The Chiba Lotte left fielder said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Magaso finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 5 RBIs. James Magaso walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Heng-zong Li in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Shi-fu Wu in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Zhi-gang Ai in the 9th. For the season Magaso has hit .293 with 17 home runs and 48 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 42 times. |
