Carp Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, May 29th, 2025 The Hiroshima Toyo Carp clubhouse had a subdued atmosphere today, as it became official that the team has officially missed the postseason. "Close, but not close enough," the Hiroshima Toyo manager said. Hiroshima Toyo last appeared in the postseason in 2014. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 13-year history. Hiroshima Toyo has won the Japan Series Championship 2 times in their history. |
