Carp Capture Central Division Monday, May 26th, 2025 Hiroshima Toyo Carp fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the Central Division. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," starting pitcher Nobukazu Nakamura said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the Japan Series Championship home to Hiroshima Toyo." The division crown is the 3rd for the Carp. The club will be looking for its 3rd Japan Series Championship victory. Team manager Brandon Desforges said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
