Tohoku Rakuten Wins Pacific Division Crown Thursday, May 15th, 2025 Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the Pacific Division. With their record standing at 30-12, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 3rd time. Manager Dan Thibodeaux said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 1st championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Thibodeaux said. Catcher Morihiro Yamasaki added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a Japan Series Championship victory is what will mark success for the club. |
