Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Right Fielder Nets PL Award Monday, April 28th, 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Sumitomo Suzuki had few peers in the Pacific League this past week. The talented right fielder for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham tagged opposing pitchers for a .579 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 6 RBIs. To date this year Suzuki is batting .286 with 8 home runs. |
