Nii Wins CL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, March 31st, 2025 19-year-old Senichi Nii made a few Yokohama headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Central League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 17 at-bats to put up a .529 average. Nii collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This year Nii is hitting .297 with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .402 clip and scored 20 runs. |
