Masuda Takes Home CL Top Batter Award Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Hiroshima Toyo Carp fans believe they've got a talented young star in Kijuro Masuda. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .396 with 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the Central League Batter of the Month. This year Masuda has hit at a .338 clip with 48 hits, 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
