No Late-Season Magic Coming: Hanshin Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 11th, 2024 Sosa Fukui said the "entire Hanshin Tigers organization" takes it hard when the team misses the postseason. That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Tigers have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 12 years as a NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2015. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
