Yamasaki Wins PL Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 22nd, 2024 Morihiro Yamasaki of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the Pacific League Player of the Week. The hot-hitting catcher was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, .563 BA, 4 RBIs, 6 runs, 2 walks and a .632 OBP. Currently Yamasaki is batting .247 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
