Ikeda Takes PL Top Starter Trophy Monday, July 1st, 2024 Over the past month Shoichi Ikeda has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Pacific League. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Saitama Seibu Lions posted 2-0 mark and a 2.60 ERA. In 3 starts he tossed 17.1 innings, permitted 15 hits and fanned 21 batters. |
