Yokohama's Huang Top CL Batter in June Monday, July 1st, 2024 For a rookie just breaking in, Hongwu Huang certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the CL Batter of the Month award for June. The 19-year-old catcher for the Yokohama Bay Stars hit .400 with 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored. This season Huang has hit at a .300 clip and produced 47 RBI, 20 home runs and 53 runs. |
