Hamada of ORIX Player of the Week Monday, June 24th, 2024 The ORIX Buffaloes received word today that second baseman Ichizo Hamada was selected Pacific League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Hamada took full advantage of all 19 plate appearances last week as he hit .600 with 9 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Hamada is batting at a .457 pace this season, picking up 16 hits in 35 at-bats with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
