Shuncho Hagiwara Hurt, Out of Action Sunday, May 19th, 2024 Yokohama Bay Stars starting pitcher Shuncho Hagiwara left yesterday's game against the Tokyo Yakult Swallows after suffering a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch. Hagiwara was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Hagiwara is expected to miss 10 months. This season Hagiwara has worked 28.2 innings with 32 strikeouts en route to a 2-0 record and a 3.14 ERA. |
