Postseason Bid Ends for Tokyo Yakult Saturday, May 18th, 2024 Tokyo Yakult Swallows retained respectable playoff possibilities throughout the year, but now have had those chances dashed, as they are mathematically eliminated. Tokyo Yakult last appeared in the postseason in 2022. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 12-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Swallows have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
