That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Marines have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 12 years as a NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2016. In the last 10 seasons, the Marines have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
