PL's Top Hitter Selected Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 Aftab Mengal made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Pacific League this past month. The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks first baseman shone through the month of April and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old hit .365 with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 17 runs scored. For the year Mengal is hitting .327 with 17 home runs. His stats include 41 RBI and 32 runs scored. |
