Shimada Wins CL Player of the Week Monday, April 22nd, 2024 It was an exceptional week for Rikiya Shimada of the Yokohama Bay Stars. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .560 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Central League. Last week Shimada went 14-for-25, notched 5 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 10 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. This year Shimada has 9 home runs and a .387 batting average. |
