Khan, Shan Receive 10-Game Suspensions Friday, April 12th, 2024 During a recent Saitama Seibu-Chiba Lotte game at Field of the Chariots, Baber Khan of the Lions and Yin-tou Shan of the Marines got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 10-game suspensions because of their actions. Khan has collected 34 hits for the Lions this year, 9 of them home runs. He has also netted 28 RBIs and scored 18 runs while batting .343. This season Shan has 1 save in 8 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 6.17 ERA. |
