Watanabe Wins PL Player of the Week Prize Monday, April 1st, 2024 There was no one hotter in the Pacific League last week as Hisanobu Watanabe attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 19-year-old Chiba Lotte catcher batted .407 with 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. This year Watanabe has 8 home runs and a .349 batting average. |
