Yokohama-Chunichi Brawl, Yasuda and Sato Suspended Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Yokohama's Kosaku Yasuda and Chunichi's Sukenobu Sato. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 4 games for their aggressive actions. "I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Dragons said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead." Yasuda's current batting average stands at .414 and he has chalked up 8 home runs and 25 RBIs. This season Sato has a 0-1 record with a 6.97 ERA in 5 starts. |
