The Giants first baseman managed to stay there long enough to earn the Central League Silver Slugger Award for 2023. He assaulted CL pitchers for a .329 batting average, 112 hits, 23 home runs and 69 RBIs, while scoring 87 times.Yoshihisa Kanda of the Chunichi Dragons finished second in voting, while Kimi Kokura of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows finished third. |
