Masayoshi Sai Winner in Central League Friday, September 1st, 2023 Masayoshi Sai of the Hanshin Tigers had a field day with Central League pitchers last month and was crowned the Batter of the Month as a result. During August he compiled a .438 batting average, drove in 20 runs and scored 17 times. He also managed to pick up 15 walks to post a .571 on-base percentage. This year Sai is batting .313 with 47 hits, 17 home runs, 52 RBIs, 31 walks, .435 OBP and has scored 37 runs. |
