Yokoyama Best PL Starter in July Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 July's standout hurler was Toshikazu Yokoyama of Tohoku Rakuten. He muzzled Pacific League hitters and held them in check the entire month to capture the Pitcher of the Month award. To win the honor Yokoyama compiled an impressive 3-1 mark and 2.64 ERA in 5 starts. The Golden Eagles star hurler also rung up 30 strikeouts in 30.2 innings.
