Mash'al Takes Home PL Top Batter Award Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 Beach balls were coming in at Rahimat Mash'al in July and he banged, bashed and blasted them all over the park, putting up a .329 batting average and hauling in the Pacific League Batter of the Month trophy. The 19-year-old Chiba Lotte left fielder collected 24 hits last month in 19 games. He put up 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Mash'al also drew 14 walks and compiled a .432 on-base percentage. This year Mash'al is batting .272 with 85 hits, 16 home runs, 54 RBIs, 51 walks, .374 OBP and has scored 54 runs. |
