But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In June the Fukuoka SoftBank starter earned a 2-1 mark in 5 starts. He threw 31 innings, struck out 40 and compiled a solid 2.03 ERA. On the year Kojima has worked 115.2 innings with 146 strikeouts en route to a 11-4 record and 2.18 ERA. |
