PL Batter of the Month Honors to Gai Thursday, June 1st, 2023 Zhao-ying Gai hit the baseball with consistency all month long and was voted the Pacific League's Batter of the Month for May. The Saitama Seibu left fielder batted .288 and posted 10 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He also drew 16 walks for a .442 OBP. Thus far this season Gai has hit .345 with 23 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 55 times. |
