Kokura Selected CL Player of the Week Monday, May 29th, 2023 Kimi Kokura of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows had a super week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Central League. The 18-year-old first baseman put up a .389 average with a .389 on-base percentage, racking up 7 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Kokura is hitting .294 with 17 home runs and 45 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .431 clip and scored 39 runs. |
