Miyashita Top CL Starter in April Monday, May 1st, 2023 An outstanding 3-2 record in April earned Nobuhiko Miyashita the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Central League. When his name was penciled in to start on the Tokyo Yakult lineup card, it meant trouble for opposing teams. In 34 innings of work, Miyashita limited opposing batters to 23 base hits and a .190 batting average. He notched 47 strikeouts, issued 6 walks and had a 2.12 ERA. |
