ORIX's Matsumoto Collects April Batting Honor Monday, May 1st, 2023 Even though he is a newcomer to NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE, Kohei Matsumoto put up some good numbers in April and earned the PL Batter of the Month award. He was one of ORIX's offensive leaders with a .408 average in 20 games. He also racked up 8 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 20 runs scored. Thus far this year Matsumoto is hitting .341 with 14 home runs, 30 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
