Takahashi Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, April 15th, 2023 Chiba Lotte left fielder Shigenobu Takahashi really lit up the ORIX Buffaloes with a 5-hit barrage today at Sea Hawks Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Marines to a 12-2 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Shigenobu Takahashi singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
