Yun and Hagi Fight, Get Suspended Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 Bad blood could be brewing between the Marines and the Golden Eagles. In yesterday's contest at Ballpark of Nasu College, Chiba Lotte's Sung-jae Yun and Tohoku Rakuten's Kyuso Hagi caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Yun and Hagi were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 8 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. To date this year Yun is batting .238 with 2 home runs. |
