Great Week for Hanshin's Mao-you Wang Monday, March 27th, 2023 A hot-hitting week got Mao-you Wang the Central League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Hanshin right fielder slammed them for a .476 average, 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, Wang shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
