Buffaloes Tomohiko Goto Wins PL Award Monday, August 29th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Tomohiko Goto of the ORIX Buffaloes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Goto rocked opposing pitching for a .417 average (5-12), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. In his stats this season, Goto has posted a batting average of .295 with 44 hits in 149 at-bats, 4 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has also scored 25 runs, walked 20 times and compiled a .378 OBP. |
