Week's Premier Player: ORIX's Kim Monday, August 15th, 2022 It was an extraordinary week for Sang-soo Kim of the ORIX Buffaloes. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Pacific League. Last week Kim went 10-20, racked up no home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the ORIX left fielder. This year Kim has socked 47 hits in 136 at-bats for a .346 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .430 pace and his totals also include 26 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
