Murayama Snares PL Top Batter Award in July Monday, August 1st, 2022 For a rookie just breaking in, Toyokazu Murayama certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PL Batter of the Month award for July. The 18-year-old right fielder for the Chiba Lotte Marines hit .455 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. So far this season Murayama has put up a .419 batting average with 52 hits, 4 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
