Gandapur Batters Hanshin Big Time Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Mazur Gandapur. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Gandapur went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Hanshin pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Ballpark of Otofuke College, he had a career 5-5 day and something he will long remember. And the Yomiuri Giants had a 12-2 victory over the Tigers. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
