Subadio Tags Carp for 5 Hits Friday, April 8th, 2022 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Atmo Subadio got one today. He scattered hits all over Ballpark of Yamagata College to pace Yomiuri to a 6-5 victory over Hiroshima Toyo. The Hiroshima Toyo skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Subadio hit several that he is not supposed to hit." Atmo Subadio struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 11th. In 19 games Subadio is hitting .368 this season with 28 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs, 8 walks, .419 OBP and has scored 16 runs. |
