CL Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 23rd, 2021 It was some kind of week for Jesús Ramos of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .500 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Central League. Last week Ramos went 7-14, chalked up 2 home runs and 2 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Ramos on the season is hitting .310 with 6 home runs. His stats include 25 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
