Diwan Wins PL's Best Bat Award Sunday, August 1st, 2021 For a rookie just breaking in, Sudhin Diwan certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PL Batter of the Month award for July. The 17-year-old first baseman for the Saitama Seibu Lions hit .500 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. For the season, Diwan is hitting at a .413 clip with 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 28 runs. He has 38 hits, 18 walks and a .521 on-base percentage. |
