He victimized the Golden Eagles by pounding three pitches out of Sailboats Ballpark. The homers sparked his club to a 21-7 win and got him a spot in the league record book. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Ghosal told reporters. "Today I was in a groove ... tomorrow I could just pop up the same pitches and go oh-for-three." In addition to the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Jaswant Ghosal hit a solo-shot off Zong-yuan Zhào in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Ze-min Ng in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off An-shi Xia in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This season Ghosal is batting .218 with 7 home runs. |
