Star of the Week Named in CL Monday, May 10th, 2021 This week Central League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Avatsara Sangameswar really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Hanshin hitting machine produced a .368 batting average, 3 home runs, 7 hits in 19 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 5 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the CL Player of the Week honors. This year Sangameswar has hit 8 home runs and posted a .325 batting average. |
