LBL Cy Young Award Winner Announced Sunday, June 1st, 2025 19-year-old Pat McConnell of the Niagara Stars put together a good year in 2025 for such a young player. McConnell was named today as the winner of the Lester B. Person League Cy Young Award. McConnell crafted an impressive 6-3 record and a 2.30 ERA. In 70.1 innings he allowed 68 hits, struck out 89, and walked 21. Matis Barrier of the Kelowna Heat finished second in voting, while Dave Gillingham of the Kelowna Heat finished third. |
