Stars Clinches Wild Card Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 They won't go into the CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the Niagara Stars still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth. "We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the Lester B. Person League East Division, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said first baseman Camden Mansel. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division." The club will be vying for its 2nd CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. |
