No Hits for Tucker, Streak Ends at 20 Sunday, May 4th, 2025 Jake Tucker's 20-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Stars 6-5 setback to the Heat. Tucker went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Tucker said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." For the season Tucker is currently batting .320 with 14 home runs and 34 RBIs. In 50 games he has reached base at a .416 rate and scored 45 runs to date. |
