Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025
It takes more than one player to win a baseball game. Georges Bourgoin of the Outlaws is proof of that. The Calgary third baseman gave it his all and dominated Niagara pitching today at Drummondville College Grounds with a great 5-for-5 game. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Stars went home the winner, 11-7. Georges Bourgoin singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
So far this season Bourgoin is batting .337 with 9 home runs, 31 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 62 hits in 184 at-bats, 27 walks and a .423 OBP. Bourgoin has played in 47 games.
