Capitals Bonnet Down with Injury Thursday, April 17th, 2025 After the end of today's game between Victoria and Saskatoon, Yvonnick Bonnet skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Capitals had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 5 months with shoulder inflammation. Thus far this season Bonnet has compiled a 1-1 record, made 19 relief appearances with 1 save, hurling 27.1 innings and striking out 22. He has held the opposition to a .297 batting average with a 5.60 ERA. |
