Capitals Barnes Injured Sunday, April 13th, 2025 It took the Victoria team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Larry Barnes won't simply play through a sore shoulder after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Royales-Capitals game. At first, it looked like Barnes might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 months. To date this season Barnes sports a 3-1 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .228 batting average and has 56 strikeouts in 44 innings. |
