Person League West Division Crown Saturday, May 4th, 2024 The champagne was flowing in the Calgary Outlaws clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the Lester B. Person League West Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Motoyuki Hayashi. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 34-22 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 2nd Lester B. Person Cup championship. Center Fielder Éric Cuny said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 4th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
